How to Apply for WA go2ui Benefits
If you need to know how to apply for WA go2ui benefits, please go to the www.go2ui.com website. This website will take you to the job seekers/benefits main page for the state of Washington’s Employment Security Department. On the main page under Benefits, there are links that will allow you to submit an initial unemployment benefits claim online as well as file a weekly benefits claim online once your unemployment benefits have started. You can also access a link to information on general eligibility requirements for benefits. Extensions cannot be applied for online and must be completed on a paper application.
To submit an initial unemployment benefits claim, select the link for claim unemployment benefits online. You will be taken to the Washington State Employment Security Department’s online unemployment insurance application. Here, you will be asked three qualifying questions that will determine whether or not you can apply for your benefits online, or if you will need to apply over the phone. There is also a list of all the information you will need in order to file your claim such as your social security number, exact dates that you worked and for whom, and your banking information if you mean to have your benefits direct deposited into your bank account.
Once you have read the page and gathered all of the information that you will need to file a claim, you will need to click on the “Click Here to Continue” button at the bottom of the page in order to move to the actual application. Follow the instructions for each section and enter the information that is requested. At the bottom of each page, you will have to click on the “Click Here to Continue” button to move to the next section. After entering all the required information, you will be given an opportunity to review what you have typed in before the final submission.
